The REST-API path /api/v2/cmdb/<object> is identical in FortiOS 6.4 and 7.x, so calls you already use on 7.4 work on a FortiGate 1100E running v6.4.15 build 2095. What differs are a few newer fields that exist only in 7.x; the base URIs, HTTP verbs, filtering, paging and authentication (API-key or cookie) remain the same. To see every object and parameter exactly as they exist in 6.4.15, use the Fortinet-published “FortiGate 6.4.15 REST API Reference.”
