Recommended (stabilized) version of the Fortigate 500E model

Hello

 

Is there a recommended (stabilized) version of the Fortigate 500E model?

I am currently using 6.4.7.


Since the customer mainly uses SSL VPN, they want to upgrade to 6.4.10, which is the version with the least issue about SSL VPN

However, we cannot conclude that 6.4.10 is a stabilized version based on this content alone, so we are inquiring about it.

If I don't need an upgrade from your current version (6.4.7), can you tell me why you don't need it, and if you need an upgrade, can you tell me why you need it?

Hi,

 

If your sslvpn stability is affected by those known issues in 6.4.7, you should upgrade, if not you are already having a stable version in that regard and could hold on.

There is no problem with the current version.

I don't think an upgrade is necessary, but the client company is asking for a reason not to upgrade.

I'm sorry, but do you have any documents to prove this?

Hi,

You just mentioned a valid reason "There is no problem with the current version.", and hence not needed to upgrade.
