Read-Only Demo Access No Longer Available ?

Hello everyone,

 

Fortinet used to provide demos of Fortinet solutions in read-only mode. You would simply submit your information and receive the access credentials by email. However, for the past couple of months, I’ve no longer been able to do so.

I always receive the automated email saying :
“We've received your request for a product demo! A Fortinet sales rep will contact you soon to confirm your demo and find a time that fits your schedule.”

But after that, I never get any follow-up or credentials.

Could someone from the staff please confirm whether the read-only demos have been discontinued?

    Hi BH

    Same for me.

    Try demo.fortinet.com instead. You may have access to some cool labs depending on your account rights, but I actually don’t know if it is related to contract or partnership.

      Unfortunately, the demo site doesn’t have all Fortinet solutions, it is very limited (in my case). That’s unfortunate they removed the read only demos, oh well.

        Hello Nathan,

         

        Yes there are, they used to be plenty. You used to be able to have access “read only demos” to every solution, not just the well known ones (FGT, FML, FAZ...etc) , I guess not anymore.

          It may be worth reaching out to your local Account Manager, or Fortinet partner. They can advise on any currently available demo environments, lab access, evaluation resources, or partner portals beyond the public demos.

              While we're on the subject…
              Is there any way someone from Fortinet could fix the license error that occurs after logging into the FortiPAM demo?
              Unfortunately, this issue has been going on for several months now, and the demo is unusable.
              I’d really like to use it during client meetings to demonstrate the solution’s “look and feel” :)
