3. Preserve Session Route: Ensure that the `preserve-session-route` is enabled on the interfaces used for the SSL VPN. This helps maintain session continuity.
4. Monitor SD-WAN Behavior: Use virtual-wan-link debug logs to monitor the behavior of the SD-WAN during the RDP session. Check if the default route is being uninstalled and reinstalled, which could cause session interruptions.

• If I understand your issue, it affects not only RDP but other protocols as well, since you said it is the same with ping, right?
• Is it FortiClient VPN or FortiClient (licensed)?
• Is it the same behavior with other versions (7.4.2 and 7.2.8)
• Did you try when connecting the client on another internet connection?
