Question about transferring FortiToken Mobile license to new FortiGate (time)
Hi everyone,
Our office will be moving to a new location in a few weeks, and we recently purchased a new FortiGate. We need to transfer the FortiToken Mobile token license from our old FortiGate to the new one (the license was purchased about two years ago).
I understand that I’ll need to open a support case with Fortinet to request a new license code. However, what I’d like to know is how long it typically takes for Fortinet to issue the new license once the case is opened.
Specifically, since we’re moving on a Friday night, if I open the case at that time, is there any chance I’d receive the license code later that night? Our management team wants to ensure that users can connect to the VPN with 2FA by Monday morning.
I already reached out to Fortinet directly, but I haven’t received a clear timeframe. If anyone has gone through this process recently, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experience.
