Private APN and monitor per sim card.

Hello

I have over 100 sim cards in private APN. Between my company network and t-mobile is VPN tunnel. I wonder if is any method to monitor bandwidth ussage per sim over snmp. I used Zabbix to monitor our network infrastructure and I would be happy if it was possible to monitor bandwidth consumption for particular cards in Zabbix. At the moment, only what I can monitor is all traffic through the VPN interface which is not very helpful in diagnosing problems.

Regards

You can monitor individual SIM card bandwidth using SNMP if your private APN provider supports SNMP monitoring per SIM. This lets you track data usage on Zabbix, instead of just the total VPN traffic. For sim registration globe, ensure each SIM is properly registered to make tracking easier.

yeah i understand your setup bro, this is common issue when all sims go through single VPN tunnel, then per sim tracking become really hard.

best way is usually using APN side logging or SIM management platform that can separate usage per IMSI, otherwise SNMP only show total interface traffic like you already seeing.

same kind of limitation i also noticed in smart sim type setups, if system not giving per sim data then troubleshooting become difficult
