Policies in firewall! help please

hello everyone, this is the first time I review a Fortimail team. I have questions and I would like you to help me with the following questions:

I checked the fortimail policies but I don't understand. Could you please explain to me what each policy consists of? what is -/* ?

The -/* is nothing more than a wildcard regex for the sender and|or receiver in a access control rule.

So that would match me@mydomain.com or you@someother.domain.

the access-controls are looked at top-2-bottom so be careful of the order of the rules.

Did you not download or review the fortimail administration guide online? It exlain this very clearlyt.
