Persistent agent giving weird symbols

Hi community,

I am trying to figure out what is causing these weird symbols showing here. Any way to fix this?

Hello @mhdfaizaa,

Have you noticed any VLAN change (of the machine) on the FortiNAC?
Also check on another end if there is any interference from the FortiNAC.

It does not seem to be the FortiNAC side issue and most likely the network related behaviour.

Yes there is VLAN changes happening.

Could you clarify more on network related behaviour?

Try to verify from the FNAC Admin UI if there is any custom messages configured that includes any special character here:

Here are my settings. Yet still getting the same special characters.

Then the option 'Include logical network name in balloon notification' could output those special characters.

Is the host matching with a logical network that is properly configured on the network device model configuration?

You can also try to disable it, at least for testing purposes.
