Permission denied (-455) with Pre-Logon

Hi

We use the FortiClient 5.2.2.0624 and if we use it after normal Windows Login it works just normal to establish a SSL VPN tunnel to our FG200D. But if we choose the Pre-Logon Feature, we always get the "Permission denied (-455)" error. No Pre-Logon possible with Windows 8.1 and 5.2.2.

Anyone the same experiences?

Are you using the same windows credential to connect to SSL? When you saw "permission denied", it's probably user name/password was wrong. You can open FortiGate debug to monitor if you can.

What if you uncheck "Use my Windows logon credentials for VPN", and enter user name/ password manually?
