Opening Connection to EMS from Internet

Hello, I´m deploying a EMS server and I wonder what Do you think about to public this EMS server from my Internet users connect to it when VPN is Down.

I have a Firewall where I have done a VIP regard that connection from my Internet users to my EMS server.

 

My question is about the best pratical because this my first EMS Server Deploy and Need regard Security and flexibility of connection for my users.
