Not automatically updating from 5.2.3.0633 to 5.2.4.0650

I had this issue before in a version prior to 5.2.2.  Worked perfectly in 5.2.2 updating to 5.2.3.  Looks like it's a problem again. Anyone have any ideas?  Removing the old version to install the new is not really an option.
