New Fortigate 50G not able to connect DHCP in Wan Port

Hello Experts

I am Facing an issue with new FOrtigate WAN port DHCP IP not getting

the device is unboxed need to register the product

the connection scenario

the PC cable (already internet available ) connected to Wan port of Fortigate and one cable connect from lan port to PC ( Normaly nat will be enable ) my pc will get internet ( Policy already done Lan to Wan -all )

Is there a modem that provides an IP address through DHCP connected to the WAN port? Does the subnet IP range overlap with the LAN?

Thank you kind reply , I am trying the configuration behind my Office firewall double NAT office Network will be (172.19.0.0/22)-DHCP server .from there one lan cable is connected to WAN port and trying to get DHCP in the port - no luck but the same cable connecting to other PC as normal I am getting DHCP so its got confused why I am doing this need to regidter the Product and move to other location

It could be a limitation on the office network's DHCP server or a NAC solution in the network that is preventing this FGT from connecting to the network or receiving an IP address through DHCP. You can enable the DHCP client debugs to get more information like shown here: Technical Tip: Diagnosing DHCP on a FortiGate
