New 30G modell - cant activate AV profile

Hello,

 

we are changing in small offices from FG30E to FG40F and some 30G which we would like to try. 

 

First, I cant download newer FortiOS versions from the support portal, it seems that the 30G only has the 7.2.X version, cant be true, no?

 

Also in the Web Gui I cant activate a AV profile. I can add a new one but than I cant choose it in the policy.

 

Any experience and feebdack from this modell?

As per the checking, the FortiGate _30G can go until v7.2.8.

Hello,

 

I suspect that feature visibility is not enabled:

I would recommend to try to enable AV in CLI for testing purposes.

 

config firewall policy
edit <firewall policy ID>
set utm-status enable
set set av-profile <profile name>
next
end

    Hi,

     

    yes, this was something I wanted to try. 

     

    But what about the OS? Is is possible that there is just the 7.2.8 version?

      I am having the same issue with AntiVirus and Web Filter. I have profiles created but I can't add them in the policies

      Currently, this is a known issue running FortiOS 7.2.8GA. The fix will be included in 7.2.11.

       

      Workaround:

      Until this is fixed, the Webfilter & Antivirus profiles can be enabled using the CLI

       

      config firewall policy
      edit <policyid>

      set utm-status enable

      set av-profile <profile_name>

      set webfilter-profile <profile_name>

      end

        By the way, I heard from TAC the 7.2.11 was scheduled to be released next week.

          Yes, the tentative release of 7.2.11 is in the next couple of weeks.
