Hi Everyone, We have an interesting issue where we are using vlans on the FG and DNS, IP traffic is traversing all vlans properly. When it comes to accessing machines via NetBIOS it fails. We do have the set netbios forward enabled and the set wins ip set properly. Is there something else we are missing in order to get this to work? Thanks in advance!!!

Sorry - I also wanted to add that the policies between vlans allow any services - basically wide open. Thanks again.

I take it you are in NAT/Route mode so after the forward netbios try this set wins-ip <wins_server_ip> hope this helps it did for one of my clients accross VPNs

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, we set both the forwarding and the wins.

I have a similar problem with netbios, but also with DFS. The company has several VLANs. One of them with the servers, and the other with users (tecnical, administration, warehouse...) All of the users work in domain, and they access to applications and files. The servers have a DFS system, so the user access to a \\name, which is a DFS. The client had a Cisco as a router/firewall, routing between VLANs without problems, but when we changed it and put the FG, the system become to fail. We configured in each interface, netbios-forward enable, but they have problems to access the files and applications. How can we resolve this problem? FG has version v.4.0 MR2 patch 7 Thanks in advance,
