how about blocking the file extensions instead? like .mp3 etc... I would of expected music sites to fall under a specific catagory, do they actually fall under the bandwidth consuming one? maybe they have a different one.
Just had a look on the fortinet site and it confirms it should be under the " Potentially Bandwidth Consuming " section, under subsection " Multimedia download" . However, if you do a URL lookup on the url lookup site [link] http://www.fortiguardcenter.com/webfiltering/webfiltering2.html [/link] it shows itunes.com as being under " freeware download" . problem is, so many companies are now selling music under their website, like supermarket sites, that i suppose you cannot classify the entire site as one particular thing. Ie. do you classify it as a online shop? or music site, etc.. file blocking would be better, but obviously that cannot work for https unfortunately.
