Much trys to access android.clients.google.com

Hello all,

i was some weeks on holidays during this time we recognized that there are many blocked sessions on the fortigate

firewall to play.google.com. During my investigation it seems that is more the URL android.clients.google.com was is

stressed. i wondering which application is using this URL? In the web filter i have the category Freeware and Software

downloads blocked. During 24 hours i found 85.000 Sesions blocked. Does anybody have the same experience ? Its okay

to allow android.clients.google.com to be accessed ? Or should i try to block it on the Desktop firewall of the Clients ? By the

way all clients are Windows Clients no android phones etc.

Hello,

In the logs you have to check the source of that traffic and confirm that really you don´t have android users.
