Migrate from classical Forticlient ti EMS

Hi,

 

We have FGT in 6.0 with Forticlient and telemetry services.

 

We need to upgrade to 6.4 and we have seen that now we need fortiEMS.

 

Do anybody knows if there is a migration procedure in this case ?

 

Do we need to reinstall all forticlient agents on endpoints ?

 

Do forticlient on endpoints now needs to connect on EMS public IP ?

you need to take the backup of the current EMS configuration first,

 you can then get the image file for FCTEMS and run the normal installing procedure the FCTEMS software should then automatically upgraded to the new version,

--for all the endpoints its recommended to have the same version as the FCT EMS version
