How many firewalls can an active-active cluster support? I read through the High Availability Handbook and I couldn' t find the answer. The handbook states " two or more" but what is the limit? Can virtual wan links be part of the cluster? Can virtual wan links be used for VPNs too? Thanks for your help in advance!

    Hi, and welcome to the forums. From the Handbook v5, ch. 8 " HA" ;
    An introduction to the FGCP A FortiGate HA cluster consists of two to four FortiGate units configured for HA operation.
    Second, what do you mean with " Virtual WAN links" ?

    Thanks Ede! I can' t believe I overlooked that. Virtual WAN links are a new concept in 5.2. A virtual wan link is a new type of interface that combines multiple WAN links together. Its much easier to setup load balancing, ISP failover, and link quality monitoring using virtual WAN links. Thanks again, Weddie
