Max concurrent Site to Site connections on a FortiGate 100D?

I'm looking to find out how many concurrent site to site vpn connections can be handled by a FortiGate 100D.  It would be acting as a vpn concentrator

The current WAN connection is 100Mb. Each connection would be using on average 1Mb/s.

Is there a hardware or software limitation on the number of connections?

The WAN speed can be increased if needed.

Thanks!

For the hard limit of FGs, you can refer to the max values table below:

    http://help.fortinet.com/fgt/54/max-values/5-4-0/max-values.html

How many you can practically put in one physical connection is up to total amount of traffic on the cable you need to estimate.

    Hello,

are there any further details about maximum VPN encryption settings i.e. can the 100D handle 200 x site-2-site tunnels (with phase1-proposal AES256/SHA256 and phase2-proposal AES256/SHA256 or even higher SHA512) ?

On the far ends are 30D and 30E.

    thank you,
