Mails not accepted (Milter error)

Hi, we have trouble with a Fortimail-VM01 in gateway mode (v6.4.2(GA), build427, 2020.09.01). Mails from just one sender (important one) are permanently rejected, allthrought the sender domain is on the system white list and also in the gleylisting exempt list. Other senders from the same sender domain are accepted without problems. Here are some log entries:

 

AntiSpam       MilterTask: body: UriException( 5 ) , UriImpl.cpp:743, 'http:/'MilterException( 4 ) , Session.cpp:1872, '084CUtGA004300-084CUtGB004300'

 

MailEvent      Milter: data, reject=451 4.3.2 Please try again later

how about creating an exemption rule to the Recipient policy?

look for the mail in the log and look in the policy ID column for the policies that are active for this mail xx: xx: xx. first value access policy, 2 value ip policy and third value recipient policy. this is how you can generally tell where to start.
