MACOSX and FortiClient issues with slowness

Anybody running FC 5.4.093 and seen the following issues;

 

[ul]
  •  1: you can't shutdown the service completely from the top-screen bar
  •  2: slow web
  •  3: you need repeative operations with opening the console and shutdowning the client[/ul]

    We've started disabling AV and WebfIltering on the clients and no luck, bu if we dropped the client and kill it, the machines pickup and runs like a rabbit.

     

    FWIW. these might ( #2 ) my be dns related and similar to the other 10.11. MACOSX thread that  running around but the dns server ON_LAN are the same as a non FClient host.

     

    I've 1st seen this issue on 10.9.5 and 10.10.2 builds,  and yes I know maverick is old and hasn't had a new release in 1 year or more, but the schools have numerous  10.9.x machines & with dependencies for student software bound to that OS version.
