Local CA Certificate Import says Invalid Certificate

Hi All,

Using FortiOS 5.4.6. I am trying to replace an expired local CA generated certificate on my 200D. I generated the CSR and then created a Web Server certificate using my local MS CA server. I downloaded the certificate chain, imported the CA cert, and then tried to import the local cert. I get a message saying that "The imported local certificate is invalid".

 

I am not sure what to do from here as I do not know why it is invalid.

 

A few questions:

  • Does the CSR still need to be in the Certificates list when I import the resulting cert?
  • My local CA cert is listed under External CA Certificates. Is that right?[/ol]
