Launch FortiClient SSLVPN for Linux at Startup

Running FortiClient SSLVPN version 4.4 Build 2336 on Ubuntu.

I need FortiClient SSLVPN to launch at system start and automatically connect to the SSLVPN.  Attempts to run the "forticlientsslvpn_cli" via init.d or cron have not yet been successful.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Additional Information: Expect script running perfectly and is being used for said init.d or cron attempts to launch forticlientsslvpn_cli.
