I have fortigate connected to Fortiswitch, and have 3 Fortinet AP's connected

and created new VLAN 5 and assign the VLAN on the ports

All the computers are working fine, internet is working fine

the issue is i have printer connected to the same vlan but i cant see the printer from the computers although they are all in the same VLAN

when i connect the computer to the Wi-Fi  and i have role in the firewall to allow the wi-fi to see the vlan 5 i can see and ping the printer.

i checked everything and the printer and computers are getting the same subnet

Any ideas

Sounds like a misconfiguration on the printer itself - check the network mask first.

If your PCs are using (the FGT) DHCP, configure DHCP for the printer as well, for testing.

"when i connect the computer to the Wi-Fi  and i have role in the firewall to allow the wi-fi to see the vlan 5 i can see and ping the printer." What do you mean by role?

Today i investigated more and found wired issue

the computers connected to the same forti-Switch with the printer cant see the printer or ping

The computers connect to the otehr fortiswitches can see the printer and can ping

When i change the printer cable to other switch the computers on that switch cant see the printer

I have 4 different printers and same issue with all of them

We have fortigate 60F connected to 3 S224E switches

Same VLAN, Same switch cant see the printer !!!!!!

When i connect the printer cable to my laptop i can see and ping the other computers

    Any Idea ?
