Is there any FortiGate VM Trial Version, that can be used for Site2Site with Sophos XG SFOS 20.0 GA

Hi,

i tried with Image v7.4.3.F on VM Ware Workstation 17.6.1 Pro and FortiGate-VM64.ovf as an import.

I could register for a trial license.

 

With this Image i was not able to create a Site2Site Tunnel to Sophos XG 20.0 Trial Version, because of Encryption limitations.

 

So i tried FGT_VM64-v7.6.0.F-build3401 with FortiGate-VM64.hw17.ovf, but this Release give me a trial license error, because fo 0 CPU and 0 GB Memory Bug. If i check hardware Settings i get 1 CPU and 2GB Memory.

 

Can someone help and tell me if the 7.6.0 would support 3DES encryption?

Sophos week encryption starts at 3DES ...

Hi,

You could try with 7.0 or 7.2, i use them from time to time to test ipsec config and know for sure that they work with the lowest params.

From 7.6 you need to have a trial license installed, if im not mistaken.
