Is there an api where I can collect data from the AP manager on the Fortimanager or FAZ

I am trying to get an api call to FMG to get statistics for FortiAP from the FMG or FAZ. The document online states the use of IP addresses but we cant use that for our case. Is there anymore info on api calls for FortiAPs from FMG or FAZ

I looked to the REST API of FAZ, and FMG, and could not find anything related to your requests. All status, statistics available from FGT, or directly from the FortiAP itself, using the ip-address.

what exactly do you want to get from REST API call to APs? Which document are you following?

    I used this document for the API call, we are trying to get live data from the APs such as status, data rate, etc for starters.

    I hope FGT is acting as wireless controller, and we could get data from there.

      Is there a way to do it from FMG or FAZ? We cant use the FG for our infrastructure(Maritime).
