Is it worth updating my FortiSwitch S148FF Firmware from v7.4 to v7.6.0-build1015 ?????

Hi Eveyone,

 

Just want to inquire what it the current recommended Firmware for FortiSwitch S148FF ?

 

I got an information that the Firmware v7.6.0-build1015 is not that stable as of yet.

 

Your comments is highly appreciated.

As a general rule, if the current firmware is stable and secure and you don't need any new feature that may have been introduced in the new firmware branch, than there is no need to upgrade. Before upgrading you have to always check the release notes of the new firmware for any possible known issues that may affect your environment. If the switch is managed by a FGT keep in mind to check also the compatibility matrix shown here.
