Is ipv6 supported well on 5.0.7?

Hello, we have a customer who wants to use ipv6 including 6to4 possibilities on FortiOS 5.0.7

Does anyone know if there are issues in this software release regarding ipv6?

Will it be wise to upgrade first to the latest 5.0.x built?

ipv6  has been supported very well in  Fortigate and for a long time. You can do all of this but 6to4 could create problems or let's say others including myself has seen problems.

 

For upgrades, yes I would push the latest 5.0.x build out if you can risk 5.2.x go with 5.2.3 and avoid 5.2.4 imho.

 

For basic ipv6 , things works 100% A -OKay in all of the FortiOS version from 4.x to 5.x
