IPsec VPN Tunnel Status Cant Up Using 3g Network

Hi all,

Want to ask regarding my situation. I used tp-link 3g simcard router connected to fortigate 30E.  Inside the firewall I configure Ipsec Vpn connection to other side of my company. But i dont know why the tunnel cannot up. Are there any restriction for fortigate 30e for this kind of situation or my setting for VPN was wrong.

    im not aware of any restrictions, but you are doing quite some things and if no one comes out and instantly says it won't work because ... then you should go through the usual VPN troubleshooting steps.

     

    1) do you have internet connectivity at all through the 3g simcard router?

    2) does the VPN IKE traffic from the 30E FG reach your main firewall?

    3) does your 30E or main firewall give any VPN errors?
