ipsec vpn transfer only 100MB file

Fortigate 100D and Fortigate 100F, tested OS versions 5.6 to 6.2.2. forticlient versions 5.4 and 6.0.9 work the same. Only files up to 100MB can be transferred. If the file is larger the connection is lost. What can be done to prevent this from happening?
