IPSec Tunnel between Fortigate and Sophos firewall

Hi Everyone!

 

I want to know if there is any guide on establishing IPSec tunnel between Fortigate firewall and Sophos firewall? I tried using https://www.sophos.com/ja-jp/medialibrary/PDFs/documentation/SophosFirewall/Pocket-Guides/Establish-IPsec-VPN-Connection-between-Sophos-and-Fortigate-with-IKEv2.pdf but it seems it does not work.

Hi,

 

Are the phase1 and phase2 settings alike on either peers? Did you try some debugging? is that phase1 is not getting up or is that issue on phase2?

Hi,

You need to create a custom VPN tunnel:
https://help.fortinet.com/fortiproxy/11/Content/Admin%20Guides/FPX-AdminGuide/750_VPN/753a_CreateVPNtunnel.htm

-Make sure the Phase1 and Phase2 VPN parameters between the Fortigate and Sophos matches.
-Make sure there is a route and policy for VPN traffic to passthrough.
