IPSEC Side to Side VPN with two Fortinet 30E best practice

I have a question about the ipsec side to side vpn. What is best practice? Use the Side to Side VPN template two fortinet or a custom VPN because i saw videos from fortinet and it always two fortinet template.

    Using the template might be the easiest way ;)

    Thus as long as it uses the template it is not very configurable afterwards.

    However you could still always convert it into a custom tunnel if you need more options to configure.
