Question

Internal traffic bandwidth?

My company uses a Fortigate 100F and we're looking into possible upgrades/replacements, but we need to get a good sense of how much bandwidth we're using internally vs. heading out the WAN interfaces on a regular basis. Is this something that requires a FortiGate Cloud subscription to pull reports on, or is there another way to see when we're hitting max bandwidth/any network bottlenecks we may be having?

Hi @J_McGe,

 

On a FortiGate you can see not more than 7 days bandwidth graph through Fortiview. If you need a report, it would be better to use FortiAnalyzer or implement SNMP (v3) and collect bandwidth usage through it.

    @fricci_FTNT The 'technical tip' link shows everything via an animated .gif, but the .gif is too small to read. Is there any written material that corresponds to the image or are we supposed to be able to figure out what it says?
