Install Forticlient VPN on windows 10

Hi,

every time I try to install the latest version of Forticlient VPN (downloaded from fortinet website) on my laptop with windows 10, the installer gets to the point of writing to the registry and then rollback the process.

there is no log file created, no new folder/service created on my laptop, only an entry in the event viewer:

The FortiClient SSLVPN service terminated unexpectedly.  It has done this 1 time(s).

any advice?
