Question

Inspected Protocols are missing in Antivirus security profile

I have a very interesting problem that I have not been able to figure out yet. I've searched the internet and haven't found anything with this exact problem. I have a FortiWiFi 40F-3G4G that I upgraded all the way to 7.6.1 build3457 before I did any configuration on the device. I finally got the Sandbox working with FortiCloud, but I noticed that when I try to configure the antivirus policy, there are no entries listed in the GUI for Inspected Protocols. Since they aren't listed, it will not let me proceed to turn on or off any settings or even give it a name. Has anyone else seen this before?

Hi,

Can you share the snapshot of the error you are seeing on the policy and pinpoint the exact concern

Thanks, Salon

Please check the AntiVirus scan is enable and any one of the protocol is enabled

Same exact issue on my new 40F. I can not edit the default A/V profile, and I can not create a new one. All the sliders are grayed out, and I get the red box undefined error. It's been over a month since this post was created and Fortinet still did not release a fix for this? That is ridiculous!

Same issue on 60F: "Undefined Error" and no protocol displayed.

Unable to amend existing profiles or create new profiles.

Can confirm same issue here, doesn't look to be fixed in 7.6.2 either :(

Here I thought I was the only one!

I think the main issue comes with the new FortiOS version, I have a 40F that I upgraded to v7.6.2 and I am experiencing the same error.

Will revert back to the older, v7.4.7 and get back to you guys as well.
