Hyper-V and transparent mode

hi

i want to install a vm appliance and need some documentation 

host will be a Hyper-V server

i need to install in transparent mode. the documentation is for gateway or server mode

any help on that?

what about high availability provided by Hyper-V?

shall I install a second VM on the 2nd physical host ?

can I use only one VM fortimal and migrate to the other host in case of failure? what will be the network connection inn such scenario?
