How to trigger fgfm protocol events

Good afternoon!

I just migrated from FortiManager v. 5.2 to v. 5.4 and noticed that events under the fgfm subtype were no longer triggering, even though I've seen some of my monitored fortigates drop. These are set to trigger from the local device, so I'm limited to the event level filter.

I tried a couple things like making sure the fgfm event was enabled in the local log disk filter and made sure other events were triggering. Also tried setting the alerts to trigger off anything greater or equal to debug, but still nothing has shown.

Any extra step I'm missing? Thanks in advance guys!

We noticed that in 5.4.0.GA, some fgfm log missing for like device up down log "2016-03-21 10:39:07 log_id=0002011003 type=event subtype=fgfm pri=warning msg="fgfm connection to device v8 is down" user="fgfm" device="v8""

and also opened a bug and will fix for 5.4.1 patch release

    Thanks

    Thanks Simon!

Is there an expected release date as of yet?
