::how to track power failure events::

greetings,

 

There is any way to generate via CLI command or Logs & reports event history of power issue failure?

I am able to to grab this info via 3rd app such Zabbix. which let me know uptime and ICMP reach ability.

 

any suggestion are welcome.

    Hi!

    On the "bigger" models there is a command:

    execute sensor list

    Also if a failure is detected, you can see it in the event log. But I'm not exactly sure how this message looks, i guess you can try it yourself if you disconnect one and check the generated log.

    When your talking about power related I'm assuming the fortigate lost of power? There's  logaction ipmc-sensor-monitor that you  can query via syslog or  FAZ.

     

    It generates a alert when Power is removed or restored.
