How to Show System & Other Tabs

we have fortigate 60D and i want to troubleshoot if our fortigate is causing the intermittent connection of our internet. I read in other forums that it's a possible cause. But I don't see System tab in web-based manager. How can I enable or unhide it. I was not the one who set this up. how can i know the FortiOS version?

    It looks like the administrator login you've been provided does not have full access to the system. Is there another super admin user login you can try?

    I see. That's what I thought before. Thanks! Another question, can I use the FortiExplorer to configure the device or is it just used for initial configuration? If I'll use ethernet cable to connect to port of FortiGate, should I really use cross over cable as stated in http://help.fortinet.com guide.
