How to setup Fortigate running Ha with two Core Switches

Hi

Im trying to connect two core switches to out Fortigates that running in HA

The Fortigates have been running for 3 years together with some old Alcatel Lucent switches, and now I want to upgrade to FortiSwitch

This is my setup.

Hi again

Sorry but it will not work.
As I see it i should use
HA-mode FortiGate units using hardware-switch interfaces and STP | FortiSwitch 7.6.5 | Fortinet Document Library
But it seems not to work

The port on the two switches also look different to each other

Port 27 should no be default.fortilink.... should it?

I think a two-tier topology and using MCLAG would be a better approach.

Its still not working.
And now I see this picture
The port on the FortiSwitch is Normal ports instead of Fortilinks
