how to set timeout for vpn users in Ipsec vpn/L2tp over ipsec

Hi there,

 

What is the default timeout for ipsec vpn users.

 

How can I set timeout for vpn users if user is doing any activity from the vpn.

 

 

Note - we are using dialup vpn in fortigate firewall.

You can follow this guide to setup some hard-timeout value for users.

This will force them to reauthenticate or disconnect form the session if they fail to do so.
