How to Report False Positives

You may send the sample to submitvirus@fortinet.com and put " false positive" in the email title. It should be handled by a real person.

You could try calling support or opening a ticket, but their stated policy is that they want this submitted via email. Please see this link: http://www.fortiguard.com/antivirus/submit.html If you include your serial #, it says they will respond back to you. Is there a reason you don' t want to send it via email? [Update: As another option, if you go to http://www.fortiguard.com and select the " Contact Us" link at the bottom left, you will get a menu of options that includes several clickable webforms that allow you to submit an issue with the antivirus engine.]

Thank you. It appears that the only people who can report false positives via any method besides email are the authors of the software. That' s exactly what I needed to know.
