How to remove username details from OTP token received by Email/SMS (Fortiauthenticator)

We are using FAC for 2FA and we have configured our SMS gateway and also SMTP server to receive token codes on Email and SMS.

Its working fine but the end user is receiving the token code along with username details.

Our query is there any way to remove username details from token received on Email and SMS?

We don't want username only token code is sufficient.

We have checked admin guide of FAC but not found any such settings to remove username details.

If anyone have any suggestions kindly assists!!!

Hey Pravin,

you can modify the SMS and email body under replacement messages.

Default ones are found under System > Administration > Replacement Messages.

If this is triggered via captive portal/self-service portal, there are portal-specific replacement messages under Authentication > Portals > Replacement Messages.

Search for 'Token' in the replacement messages:

You can modify the messages and remove the username line to not have it included in the SMS or email.
