How to find out concurrent sessions menas actual no of users

Hi Team,

FG60F firewall support supported Concurrent Sessions (TCP) 700 000, as per data sheet how to draw how many no of devices support to the firewall (Laptop, Desktop, etc) caus no of use not in any model of datasheet only concurrent session available someone guide or share the formula of this calculations ...Thanks.

Why is the number of devices relevant? 
You can have 1.000.001 devices behind fortigate, but with only 100 sessions in total. The number of sessions is not directly connected to the nuber of devices.

 

To get an estimation of the size of the FortiGate that you need for your network, multiple factors must be considered (UTM profiles used, traffic type and load, functions like file filter, explicit proxy, etc) . For this reason you must consult with a Sales Representative or local Distributor for a proper size assessment before purchasing.
