FGT800 MR4 patch 4 there was a power failure followed by an Internet link failure this morning. we got the FGT800 up and running when we before the Internet link. then we noticed that our anti-spam and webfiltering licenses are showing us expired although the license is up to 12/24/2007. problem is i don' t want to do a cold boot of the FGT800. is there a way to restart just the failed services much like it can be done with Windows' services?

A restart will not fix your problem! You have to open a Ticket and wait... a looong time. To fix the global desaster in the meen time you must remove your protection profiles until Fortinet will process your Ticket! Regards Erich

Wrong. They did something in Forti-land that corrected the problem. Users are happy, as am I!!

You can also manually restart the webfiltering daemon via CLI with :- diagnose test application urlfilter 99 FDN team is looking into the cause of the issue.
