Ho to remove from Fortinet blacklist (not Fortinet users)

Hi,

two of our customers can't reach a website, but that webmaster says he can't remove them, because they are listed in the "Fortinet MaliciousServer list" and he can't remove them.

The cause was the firewall of those two clients of ours, which they have since replaced.

How do you get yourself removed from that list?

Who should I ask?

Thanks!

Hi Robmat,

Can you further clarify where did the webmaster noticed that those 2 customers are indeed listed as Fortinet Malicious Server List?

After obtaining the service that blocks the connection, you will need to get in touch with our FortiGuard team to review/whitelist the IP:

Contact Us | FortiGuard

However, you will need to check whether the URL itself is being identified as malicious or it's the client's public IP address.

Hope that clarifies.

Hi,

those two customers can't view a website and the webmaster of that website said that he is not blocking them but those two ip addresses are included in the "MaliciousServer list" of Fortinet and he can't remove them from there.

I contact now your team, thanks!

R.

Thanks
