Help with AWS deployment

We are working on standing up an HA configuration for AWS using the new v5.4.5 appliance from the AWS Marketplace.

 

We've already worked with a prior version and Fortinet's cloud formation template that builds a third host to coordinate HA. The new v5.4.5 states that there is now support for unicast HA. We are trying to locate any specific documentation or perhaps an updated cloud formation template.

 

Looking for anyone that might have experience or thoughts to share on this. We are not experts with FortiGate so any help would be appreciated.

    One follow on question, would this new unicast HA only be valid within the same AWS Availbility Zone or can we stretch the FortiGates across two AZs?
