Question

Hard disk failure - FAZ RAID10

I have a Fortianalyzer 4000B with Firmaware 5.2.7 in RAID 10. The problem is that the first hard drive shows it with an 'X' in red and in the status says: "The system is working fine, but it is in a Degraded state"

Which the steps to diagnose the hard drive  or if it is necessary to recreate the RAID again. We currently have no contracted service to open a ticket with the Fortinet TAC

Regards!

I was in charge of a FAZ with an issue a while back. It was an 800 model. We rebooted (as by TAC) and the error went away. You could also try to remove and re-add the device in the portal. If those fail and the drive really is toast, you could open the box and replace it. It's no magical drive. You should be able to source a replacement easily enough.
