HA with 100E/101E

Hi all, Is there a way to make ha between a 100E and a 101E? If i disable the disk logging wont 101E technically be a 100E? On paper they have the exact same interfaces - its just the possibility to enable disk logging instead of logging to memory. Thanks in advance
