HA (high Availibility) active-active, active-passive

Hi all

I need to connect second internet redundant connection into fortigate. I am using only one fortigate. Is it possible to use one fortigate for redundancy ?

Hi @Ganbayar ,

 

This is not called HA (HA is for 2 FGT devices, not for 2 links).

 

You may configure Link Monitor for link redundancy (You did not provide your FortiOS version,  so I provided the article with the latest 7.6.2):

    Hi Ganbayar

    With one FGT you can have internet redundancy. The best way to achieve it is with SD-WAN.
